Key differences
Where the choice gets clear
Canadian pricing, no surprises
MoeGo bills in USD, so Canadian groomers watch their bill move with the exchange rate. SBM Portal is flat CAD — $29.99, $69.99, or $199.99 a month, and it stays that number.
Your own payment account
With MoeGo, card payments run through MoeGo Pay. With SBM Portal you connect your own Stripe or Square account — money goes straight to you, at your negotiated rates, with no platform in the middle.
Room to grow beyond pets
MoeGo is pet-only. If you ever add a second business — a salon, a cleaning service, anything — SBM Portal runs all of them from one login, with vertical-specific tools for each.
Being fair
Where MoeGo is strong
MoeGo is a mature, pet-focused product with a polished client app and deep grooming-specific workflows. If you're a US-based, high-volume grooming salon that wants a pet-only platform with a native mobile app, MoeGo is a solid choice.
But if you're a Canadian groomer who wants flat CAD pricing, your own Stripe or Square account, and a platform that can grow past pets — SBM Portal is built for you.
